Doctor Strangelove
Friendship comes and goes alongside the passage of time, but sometimes, the bonds between certain people are stronger than normal. Stephen Strange and Rachael Barrow grew up together, their bond wavering, but never breaking. Together, they've pushed through the trials of their lives and overcame countless obstacles. Their dreams, however, were far from similar. Rachael made a career out of her passion for acting and became one of the most well-known actresses in Broadway, while Stephen spent the majority of his thirty-three years of life learning to become a neurosurgeon, one of the best in the world. Though his success made him arrogant and haughty, the only person who he doesn't wave his success over is Rachael. But, one fateful night, Rachael and Stephen's bond of trust gets tested once more, pushed to its breaking point. Stephen's been in a car accident, and the nerves in his hands have been damaged to the extent where he can no longer hold a pen without shaking, making it impossible for him to operate as a neurosurgeon anymore. Eventually, Stephen started using alcohol to cope with his denial. Yet, that wasn't enough. Perhaps the East has a cure, a so-called 'Ancient One' to mend his nerves and let him operate once again. And so, he fled, so desperate that Rachael never even crossed his mind, not when he packed, not when he got on the plane. She didn't even know that he was leaving in the first place. Only a scar: Doctor Strange x Fem!reader
[CONTAINS SMUT] ‼️18+‼️ ~~~ Scars are permanent. So are first impressions. Due to the attitude and comments Stephen Strange has made towards Y/n there's no surprise she despised him. Thinking no more of her after a few encounters he was struck with shock when years later he found her in a certain job placement much more different from an ordinary ER Doctor. ~~~ All characters belong to Disney, Marvel and Stan LeeComplete

Twisted Fates | ironstrange (Book 1)
Tony Stark was never Iron Man. He was never a hero, never anything except 'genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist'. The only thing he was, was a broken man with a hunk of metal embedded in his chest, broken even further when he ended up the victim of a near-fatal car crash after a fight with Steve Rodgers, the leader of the Avengers. When Tony learns that he only has three months left to live, he breaks completely. He wastes his three months of life, wallowing in depression, until he realizes that he doesn't want to die and learns of a mystical school in the Himalayas: Kamar-Taj. Stephen Strange is a doctor with broken hands, his career ripped from his shaky grasp when he is thrown out of a hospital window and buried under half a building. Distraught, in pain, and desperate, Stephen tries his hardest to recover, turning a blind eye to every fruitless attempt. Until he learns of Kamar-Taj and meets a man named Tony Stark. Both men feel as if they are broken beyond repair, never to be whole again, and never to be loved. What happens, then, when an ordinary man literally running on batteries and a doctor who lost his work, his life, begin to mend each other? Picking up the pieces, binding the shards of metal and glass with the romance slowly blooming between them? Following the events of Doctor Strange, the two men realize there is more to the other than meets the eye, and more to themselves then they realized. But when the war is won, the dust settles, and peace overcomes the word, love is what remains. And it all started from a game of twisted fates. |~|~|~| • posted on Ao3 under Kadi_WatsonHolmes • soon to be posted on Fanfiction.net under Kadi_WatsonHolmes 🔹Started: 2/5/2022 🔸Finished: 2/21/2022 Currently under editing (moral of the story: don't binge write a 22-chapter book in less than three weeks.
