"I am Kade Logan Fallon, Head Alpha of the packs of North America." He pronounced proudly. I chuckled at his dramatic introduction. He then looked to me expectantly.

"I am Ariella. Ari, for short, vampire lowlife that kills for a living," I said with less power. His smile slowly fell from his face as if he'd momentarily forgotten that he was talking to vampire assassin. I smiled sadly and snatched the manila envelope he'd brought from beside me.
