Elijah Quinn and his brothers, Noah and Andrea are special kids, but they don't know it yet. It's not just the fact that they are triplets that makes them special. They are part of an angelic community that has lived and operated undercover for decades on the territory of Safe Haven, a small lobster fishing town in one of the northernmost counties of Maine, United States. The atmosphere of a picturesque postcard country that they believed was due to the natural beauty of the place, and which attracts tourists from all over the country, is only a facade that shields a much more complicated reality. The balance that marks the peaceful coexistence of angels and humans is broken when the boy, against his will, discovers that he is part of the special half of that community. Elijah has to deal with his new powers and with the tantrums of his brother who feels threatened by him in the angelic and especially in the love department. A mysterious prophecy announces difficult times for the twins. The return of an uncle they didn't even knew about and the attempts to keep them safe will prove to be too little too late; Evil is well organized, cruel and ruthless, and sadly, someone will pay the highest price.
