She meets the man of her dreams, gets torn away from him, and has to figure out a way to both save the 'lost' brother of her man, save her own skin (who knew being a Half-breed could get you killed?), and keep some almost forgotten prophecy from causing the death of all she cares for, (including the world itself)

The transformation turned out to be a long painful process. Her were-heritage demands that she claims Beth as her own. She is almost powerless to stop it or to make her own choice. Beth however has no choice but to complete the mating and be turned. It is that or die. When she nearly dies in the grip of the transformation Alex curses Fate and demands things be put right.
