Hinata had just come back from playing beach volleyball in Brazil for 2 years, in which time Kenma had built a large following on his gaming streams and his youtube channel, all while being the CEO of Bouncing Balls corp. People watching Kenma's streams were always asking him if he had a girlfriend, which he didn't, but he most definitely had a massive crush on a short tangerine who had just returned to Japan, but he was never going to say anything about it in fear of ruining a beautiful friendship built over the years.
This story starts when Hinata is a 3rd year and Yamaguchi is the captain of the Volleyball Team.

Their friendship turns out to be more complicated than the two had originally expected, which certainly caused an eventful training camp. A wholesome story that includes fluff, as well as a plot. in most cases, you move on from high school, maybe keep a friend or two, and try and find your way through life. most go to universities, or just work to help their families, or move out. hinata shoyo, however, went to the university of california, on a volleyball scholarship. it was a surprise many expected, not including hinata's best friend. after hearing that hinata is moving, kozume kenma cried. for the first time in a while, kozume broke down, and cried. for hours. what did this mean for their friendship? hinata is the only friend he's made that truly supported kozume, and without that, kozume found it hard to function, after getting used to it. but years have passed. it's been years since kozume contacted hinata, but it's been years, and it's hinata's time to come back.Terminé
