Yumi Mioda is a shut-in, living alone in an empty house, only going out at night to do what she loves most: rollerskating.

Reina Matsubara, ex-ice skating pro, is getting tired of taking care of her 13-year-old brother, who got in an accident recently. She longs for a change of pace, but ice skating is out of the question now. 

One night, Reina hears an eerie noise. She decides to check it out, which leads her down a roller skating rabbit hole.
