To Ambrin Trinett, it's been her home, her entire world for the past fourteen years.

When the leader of the gang she allies herself with orders her to become a spy in the court of the God Of Thacedeon, she has no choice but to oblige and soon finds herself in the court with her eyes and ears open, listening. Watching. Reporting.

Her plans come to a screeching halt when the guard she had come to think of as a friend- or maybe more- discovers her dirty job and threatens to reveal the betrayal.

Her only hope is the guard's deal: become a spy for her own gang and find out things about herself, the people she'd felt at home with, and the gods themself- or face banishment.
