This book doesn't really have a category so I went with fantasy. This is a really good book, but may trigger some people.

If You Love Me
"If you love me, you won't leave me." Jessie has believed those words from her boyfriend, Josh, since senior year of high school. She loves him and doesn't want to leave him. Not even when he shouts at her and hits her. Jessie's best friend, Kolleen, can't stand seeing her in that situation. With a bit of convincing - and the worst beating she'd ever received - Jessie agrees to move into an apartment with Kolleen. But not long after, Jessie is scared the worst of her nightmares will soon become a reality. Josh goes missing, and suddenly Jessie would swear she's being followed. One night changes everything, and one person soon changes Jessie's outlook. A responding officer from that fateful night begins to seek her out, at first claiming it's part of his job. As she spends time with her new friend outside of his job, she starts realizing that her feelings are evolving. After being abused for over a year, Jessie is terrified she's falling in love. What's even more terrifying is that he might be, too. She isn't ready for love. Not yet. She makes up her mind that if he is falling, and if he does love her, he'll wait for her to be ready, and if she loves him, she won't let herself hurt him. Can the words that used to cage her in really be the key to her freedom? --- Featured On: @NA: Take a seat and let it be | Mature Content and 18+ reading list @NA: You deserve the world | Mental Health reading list Ambys Top Picks New Adult 2023Complete

The Art of Starting Over
Have you ever sunk so low that you actually felt relieved, knowing that it couldn't possibly get any worse? Well, I have... Many times. I lost everything. My family, my future, my home... I swore I would never depend on anyone ever again. And he swore nothing will ever tie him down. He told me he has ghosts. I told him I have fears. We agreed. We were eachother's impending death. And yet I fell for him, slowly and deeply, until I didn't know how to be without him. And he fed on me, gently and steadily, until he didn't know how to let me go. They said he'll never stay. Yet, here he is. I said my heart will never break. Yet, here I am. My name is Alison Lewis, and all I want is to start over. #thewattys2021 Shortlist and #FEATURED on Wattpad Chicklit, New Adult, Romance and Psychological Novel #official reading lists.Complete

Colton's Miracle ✔️ (Moved To Inkitt)
Officially a Wattpad Creator! This book is my lucky charm. Colton has grown up knowing nothing but anger, hatred, and pain. His past doesn't allow him to enjoy life like others do. Instead, he paints a glare on his face that scares most people away. And then suddenly, a petite little red head with freckles and a radiant smile shoves her way into his life, changing every concept he thought he knew and breaks every rule he thought he needed. With every encounter, the ice around Colton's heart melts until his heart is free to beat as loudly as it can, just for Lily. With a past even darker than Colton's, Lillian chooses her armor to be a smile. She has so many reasons to succumb to the darkness that fills her once innocent heart, but she focuses on enjoying the new life she just started. Being the new girl means she's free to pretend that she's just like everyone else, normal. And when she meets the rude and grumpy Colton, she can't help but notice how alike they actually are. Slowly, the two broken souls begin to help each other heal, and together, they start to learn what it's like to be loved, unaware that the ghosts of the past are still hovering in the shadows. **Topics mentioned in this story could be triggering, such as: Physical Abuse, and Sexual Harrassment. **There will be mature content (Explicit Scenes and Swearing). **All photos used are not mine and are found for public use. ** This is a work of fiction. shattered souls
𝐋𝐈𝐎𝐑𝐀 𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐖𝐘𝐍 wears pain like a second skin. It's all she's ever known, etched into her bones, buried beneath forced smiles and hollow laughter. Once passionate, once burning bright, now nothing but ash and ruin. She pretends well, but behind the sharp tongue and unbothered eyes lies a girl screaming to be seen, yet terrified someone actually might. 𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐒 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐍 was born into a world already at war with him. Pain wasn't just a chapter in his life, it was the whole book. Raised in shadows, fed by poison, his lungs filled with smoke and silence. He never asked for love. He never believed he deserved it. Drugs kept the demons quiet. Cigarettes kept his hands busy. Until her. The only good card he's ever been dealt, fragile, feral, and just as broken as him. Together, Liora and Ares are destruction wrapped in desire. A love not meant to be touched, yet impossible to resist. It's messy. Chaotic. Addictive. It's the kind of love that leaves scars, and still, they keep reaching for each other, again and again. What happens when two shattered souls try to build something whole out of ruin?Complete
Cold Water
[BWWM] I was only twelve years old when the world turned cold. The day my mom died in that car accident, I felt like someone had dumped a bucket of ice water over my heart. My dad, who had always been my hero, suddenly became a stranger, filled with rage and blame. He couldn't see that I was hurting, too; he only saw me as a reminder of his loss. The accusations cut deep. He said it was my fault for being there, for not doing something to save her. For being the reason she was in the car in the first place. In the years that followed, things only got worse. The abuse started gradually-a harsh word here, a shove there-but it escalated, leaving scars that I carried long after the physical pain faded. I was drowning in my own despair, struggling to keep my head above water while my father's anger raged like a storm around me. I only had a break from his anger when I started living with Aunt Dina-my mom's older sister. Well, that was because she found me nearly dead on my bed after I took a dozen pills. I was tired of living. I had hit rock bottom. The harsh whispers that followed me around and the stares at school. I pretended not to notice, like it didn't bother me. But it did. I was alone. Then came Athalia, a ray of sunshine cutting through my darkness. With her, I felt something I hadn't felt in years-happiness. She became my light through the darkness and my lifeline. ••••••••••• ● Warnings ⚠️ ~ Mention of suicide ~ Anxiety attacks ~ Rape attempt ~ Mention of self-harm ~ DepressionComplete
