The Phantom of the Opera was said to be dead. He was found to the opera singers as dead. He seemed, to everyone,

Dead.

But Sheridan Ma Chanson, a background dancer at the refurbished Opera Populaire, begs to differ, once she sees something besides her reflection in the mirror on the stage.

Angel of Music

31 parts Complete

The Grand Opera Populaire was once a place of delight and entertainment and now it lies crumbled and neglected. It's once grand walls that many queued outsides its boundaries, are now seen in disgust and ridicule. Only one person stands and gazes at the building with sorrow. She is dismal that such a building that once was absolute, is now forgotten and appalled. After all the stories and tales of the theatre, she can not help but imagine. Imagine what it would have been, what it once was. What it should still be. But nothing lasts forever, not even the Grand Opera Populaire can last forever. One upon another time, the theatre held secrets of all kinds, some worse than other, some more extreme than others, some mysterious as others. But that once upon another time ended when a tragedy happened, causing a chandelier in pieces. A love story of imaginable beauty, sorrow, and horror. A story that causes a catastrophic event. A love story that led the Opera Populaire to become neglected and abandoned. A love story that was rarely told. A story of which I'm willing to tell. A story that needs to be heard.
