Clutching stiff, lifeless fingers, Mary cannot tell how she will continue on. The hands she holds will not guide her any longer. Tex is slowly becoming mute, and in his eyes, everything is losing its vibrancy. As their journey slips under a depression, the two cousins struggle to find their callings. The two face hardships, including killing addictions and dealing with the effects of being pushed to the sidelines.

They will learn that pure evil has the ability to overcome the fairest of souls. Time will take its toll and wither the beautiful, and magic will be cast from the fingertips of the blessed.
