After losing his parents at the age of 10, Bruce Wayne has spent 20 years preparing himself to avenge his parents and save anyone else in danger. For year's Carmine Falcone sat on his throne as the king of Gotham unafraid of anyone, until the day The Batman appeared. Follow Bruce Wayne during his first year as Batman, as he fights the Crime Families plaguing Gotham, Serial Killer's, Corrupt Official's and his own inner demon's all while balancing his work and social life. He may not be the hero Gotham asked for, but he's the only one they have.

Kept me on my toes, I didn't know what was going to happen next a lot of the time (which might be a problem with my own works, as I feel like what I write is pretty formulaic). There's a lot more character building moments now. Riddler was actually a really fun inclusion and his presence and actions made the finale infinitely more exciting. Robin was pretty damn good and scarecrow was cool and fun and creepy yet understandable. Overall 100% your best DCSV fic and maybe your best fic overall. However, the butler- Alfred Pennyworth- decided to help the father and his daughter. sending a private jet to Boston so it could pick both Y/n and her father up to bring them to gotham. While Y/n's father was getting treated in the hospital, Y/n went on a job hunt. She was allowed to stay in the manor of course but Y/n decided it was best for her to get a small apartment, so she did. Y/n had soon turned nineteen, and she went into training to become a skilled detective for the GCPD. And she hasnt had Any contact with Bruce Wayne even since she arrived at gotham. The only one she talked to was alfred. Bruce of course didnt know that his parents friend had a child. But when he heard the knews. He was most definitely shocked. This girl was also older than him by 11 months. Basically a year. Soon.. the two meet under dire circumstances, her father is dying, and bruce has to help her adapt and overcome. Both of them training in the process under Ras Al' Ghul. Back to Gotham. As friends, maybe more.
