Freezing is about a girl named Melissa, when she was little her mom had died, her dad was taking care of her they were poor and lived next to the woods. Melissa goes to school her dad could barely afford her school,he cared for her very well they had plenty of food and she had her own room and her dad always slept on the couch. Melissa only has one friend Stephanie, Melissa tells her all her secrets they really don't hide anything from each other. Melissa is too afraid to go to the woods because she thinks she will get attacked or something bad will happen to her.
It all happens when Melissa sees something out her window that directs to the woods she sees a sparkling light out in the woods. What happens when she goes and investigate with her friend? Find out when you read it
