To The Man Who Hunts My Heart (Ongoing)

I was scared. I was so scared. I keep running and running. My tears flowed. I couldn't stop them. I just want to live happily and peacefully but why is this happening?

I still struggled to run even though I was exhausted. I don't know where else I'm going in this thick jungle. All I wanted was to escape my life as a prisoner. A prisoner of the people who try to control my life. A prisoner of the things I did not want to do.

I crammed myself into the thick tall grass and trees so they could not reach me. I know they will not stop until they catch me. I tripped and was injured several times. But I did not think of that. All I know is I want to escape from them.

I heard loud bangs. I felt a tremor in my body due to extreme fear.
I knew they would kill me the moment they caught me. The gunfire continued as the bullets were hitting the trees I was passing. But my desire to escape prevailed. I forced myself to go even faster until the bullet hit me on my side. I fainted when I saw the blood running down into my white long sleeves top. If this is my final destination, I will be happy because I will be free from them. I could no longer cope with my dizziness until I fell and rolled in the steep part of the forest. And then suddenly, my vision went dark.

"Miss..? miss...?" I hear a man's voice that seemed worried. I feel him tapping my cheek as if waking me from a deep sleep. I tried to open my eyes. My vision was too blurred. The only thing I see is his blurred appearance.

"Hey...Are you okay?"

It was like a dream that his voice was echoing. Am I in heaven? But where is the light?

"Hmmmn..?" My forehead furrowed because I felt like I was having a nightmare, unable to move as if paralyzed.
