Robert last image before he dozes off is the nervous look on the nurses faces and a expressionless look on the doctor closing in on him. Did his desperate attempt to save his limbs cost him more than he bargained for ?

The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? The door swung open; light flooding the room. I ducked and pressed myself against the table, right foot parallel against the wall, holding myself still as I tried not to shake. I didn't see anything, but I saw a long, wide shadow, stalking closer and closer, boots squeaking across the floor. He stopped suddenly, his shadow moving back, seemingly, in the opposite direction from me. There was another moment of complete stillness. Utter quiet. Not even my breath could be heard, perhaps I was holding it, if he was even still standing in the room completely escaped me. My breath slowly returned, I felt close to fainting without even realising it; my pulse was painstakingly slow. There was a dreadful, growing silence. His shadow disappeared. My heart was pounding; suddenly there was a form beside me. Hardly even a moment of struggle; before a syringe went straight into my neck, stinging hard as I screamed. A large hand moved and covered my mouth, half my face, nearly, as I squirmed away from his grip.
