So wealthy in fact that the glamour and glitz hide the gore and grits. Blood may be thicker than water but they learned from an early age that as long as you've been hit enough, blood runs just as easily.
Sang was tired of the constant noise. She craved the silence freedom could give her and wished that even for a single moment, the world would stop. Until one day it did and she realized the noise was what kept her sane. She decided to fuck fate after that.
Eloquent. Fucking fate became a favorite past time.
Roux wanted to protect all the ones she cared about. She loved those around her because she couldn't love herself. She protected them. Until one day she failed, and damned destiny.
Ethereal. Daming destiny just as she'd damned herself.
Princesses stuck in a tower glamoured as a mansion. They needed an empire to topple their fathers.
So they created one.
Why be a princess when empress has a better ring to it.
They didn't need prince charming, or anyone to save them. They continued on with their lives knowing they'd either free themselves with whatever sanity they had left, or live six feet under, at peace.
The price to pay for surviving was hefty but they were willing to pay it, consequences be damned.
You don't have to be a good person to feel good about yourself.
Rules are meant to be broken and the law...
Just don't get caught.
In walks 14 guys with a complex for "goodness" and a secret organization to back them up.

The world looks like ours to the general public, but hidden in the shadows are horrifying creatures and the extraordinary humans who hunt them.
