During an eventful meeting at a coffee shop, Rowan gives his email to carter in hopes of getting to know her. To his surprise, he sees her again in the coffee shop six months later. Only she never sent him an email in the time span. After they see each other again she meets his roommate Troy. The same Troy who'd she later see again at a party a week later.
