The creature, Phantom, which resembles a mythical dragon, is desperate to find a friend he had lost. But as Xaz learns more about Phantom and about his mysterious friend, Jake, she wonders if finding him would even be for the better. As they search, Xaz and Phantom quickly find themselves in the thick of a conflict long in the making, and a scheme that could spell doom for them all.
