Hi! Writer here:)
This is a historic fiction along with some good ol' royal drama. So for all you history lovers out there, I hope you like it! Here's a preview:

"Naunet? Naunet?!", footsteps echoed in he large stone halls. "Naunet! Where in Aapep are you?!". The steps turned into loud stomping, as the current pharaoh of Egypt, Amenhotep III, continued to look for his sister. "Naunet!!!" his voice echoed...

Naunet had hidden in her chamber. Her maidens, young girls, were ushering her to finally meet her brother, before he gets really angry. They were clearly afraid of his wrath as soon as he finds them along with the princess. But Naunet wasn't. She'd never show herself, not if it means she would have to preform her duty...

Get out your popcorn, tourists beware, here comes a paranormal adventure with a historical twist, set in Egypt--and Britain. From Chapter 29 'Darkness': 'Did I just try to dive into that goo to get at a dead guy?' Trueth asked. Define dead,' Metjen said with a half-smile. He muttered something and touched Trueth on the forehead. The rest of her giddiness faded away--only to return as Metjen crushed her in one of his bearhugs. 'For a moment I thought we would lose you. Don't do that again.' Trueth's cheeks burned. That could only be the caffeine. The stuff had never agreed with her. 'It wasn't my idea, there was a voice in my head!' *** Trueth hates being the last paranormal creature left on Earth. She needn't worry: On a trip to Egypt she runs into Metjen Al-Nour, magical member in the last temple of the sun god Ra. With sparks flying between them--not only those of the magical variety--they solve a 5000-year-old riddle where clues are literally buried in tombs, historical sites--as well as in the family safe. But their journey is far from over - where other stories end, this one really takes off... . The second novel in the trilogy, 'Cursed Times - Only Yesterday!', is completed, and 'In My Attic' - a spin-off to the world of Cursed Times is available with weekly updates. === Copyright information, given the recent acts of content piracy: All copyrights of the texts are mine exclusively. He was prepared to say his last prayer. But the blow never came. Instead his saw the Nubian fall to the ground. The desert sands absorbing the man's precious supply of blood that flowed from his headless body. The young Pharaoh felt himself being lifted up by a familiar hand. It was Kahmunrah. --------------------------------- Ahkmenrah and his older brother Kahmunrah are Egyptian Princes of the Fourth Dynasty and the best of brothers. They are as different as the sun and moon or as gold differs from silver. But they brothers in blood and spirit. Two parts of one whole. They have been told more than once that Egypt had been blessed to have them as Sons. But one tragic event tears their lives to pieces and threatens to drive them apart for all eternity. (Highest Ranking: #108 in Historical Fiction) Was a featured story on the Ides of March. Disclaimer: I don't own the characters from Night at the Museum. Also admittedly some of the stuff that is written is a little problematic. I retain full responsibility of the problematic writing and I apologize if it causes hurt or seems insensitive, it was not my intention at the time of writing merely a reflection of the bad influences from the books I had been reading as a young teen. I am trying very hard to make this book more politically correct in my other drafts as do I do not want other people to normalize toxic, homophobic and sexist tropes/ideologies and beliefs through their reading. Dragon Blood by mwendlandt

"Do you remember calling me 'mate?'" he asked softly, pushing her wild curls away from her face. She blushed deeply, but he wouldn't let her look away. "You heard that?" He nodded with a smile. "It was the first thought she ever shared with me." Skylar pursed her lips. "She likes you very much." "What about you?" he teased gently. "How do you feel about me?" She set her jaw and once again managed to look down her nose at him while staring up at him. "Well... well, I'm rather fond of you, Orion." He let out a relieved laugh and pulled her into his chest again. "What a relief. I was worried it was just me." He nuzzled her temple, inhaling deeply, his dragon fully at peace. The words "I love you" were right on the tip of his tongue, but he knew it was too soon for that. He would have to hold them in just a little while longer. "I'm fond of you, too," he whispered in her ear. <><><><><><><><> Skylar lived her life in fear. Fear of exposure, fear of herself, and fear of her future. As a princess and heir to the kingdom, her future was daunting enough. The fact that she turned into dragon and would be killed if anyone found out made it all the worse. So, Skylar lived in constant conflict with the beast within her, all while training to be queen one day. When a fellow king discovers her secret, she is forced to flee or put her entire family in danger. When she meets Orion, the Alpha of a dragon clan, he helps open up a whole new world to her. In this new world, Skylar discovers who she is supposed to be and what she's been hiding from. She finds the beauty of her beast and a love she only ever dreamed of. But then her new world is threatened. It becomes a matter of kill or be killed, so Skylar's new family, with the help of her old, must rise to the challenge to defeat this threat. Or risk the extinction of her kind.
The Mummy (Imhotep x (OC)/Reader) by EdenStiefvader
10 parts Complete Mature
This is going to be based 1990's 'The Mummy'. However, since I love Egypt and the movie so much I was going to try to make my own X reader type book. I always had the tendency to feel bad for the villains, but I don't think Imhotep was really a bad guy. It's just he had a lot of hatred and vengeance for those who cursed him for loving someone after she killed herself. So due to this I'm going to change the story just a tad, and have a more happy ending. I am also naming her after Seti the first real daughter named Tia. I do not own any of the characters besides my Oc Akila/Tia. Akila Carnahan, is the half-sister of Evelyn and Jonathan. Her brother and sister are half Egyptian while Akila was fully Egyptian. She worked with her sister at the Museum of Antiquities in Cario, Egypt. After she and her siblings found the key and the map to Hamunaptra they went to see a man named Rick O'Connell. They all travel to Hamunaptra, not knowing Americans were going as well to the city of the dead. The night they were heading to Hamunaptra on the boat she got constant visions more than she usually did about her past life. How much will she learn of her old life while in Hamunaptra? What will happen when her sister Evelyn accidentally revives Imhotep from the dead with the book? Will she remember her love with the High Priest? Will she help send him back to his holy resting place or will she be the one to keep balance between them all?
