Being an Amoretto is equal to being untouchable to some people, or most. I don't think about it much since I've been brought up in this world. It's normal to me, and even if we're in the businesses that we are, I've never been worried about my safety. I only keep to the legal parts of our businesses, I always have my personal guard with me, and I've been trained how to defend myself. I thought I was safe, and so did my family.

I was supposed to be safe.

I never wanted to lie to them. We've always been honest with each other, but I can't tell them what happened to me. How could I?

I'm fine, I'm strong. I can handle it on my own, move on and forget. At least that's what I try to tell myself.

Everything is just fine until the Zhakarov's come to town to expand our gun business and have their son, Roman, defend his title. He's the current MMA heavyweight champion, and he's a little too perceptive for my liking. If someone is going to find out what happened to me, I'm afraid that it's going to be him.
