They have been feared and hated for generations because of their ominous appearance, power, and mysterious demeanour. Some consider them to be "Notch's Only Mistake". They are rarely known to show themselves, but when they do, danger always follows.'
When Xavon begins to be followed by shadows and starts to see more than he should be able to, he isn't sure whether his transformation from human to Watcher is a blessing or a curse. Maybe it's both.
Lots of trigger warnings: depression, panic attacks, violence, self harm. General badness, if you're sensitive to these kind of topics then maybe give this book a miss.

I don't own any of the characters; they belong to the Hermits as their Minecraft Personas. This book also sporadically features Evolution and Empires SMP characters. Pearl is the main character, but there are a few backstories followed as well. The first part of the chapter will always be Pearl, and the second a backstory (with a few exceptions when the chapter gets extra-long). Answer the chapter questions if you feel like it, even if you live in the mysterious future. I don't ship.
