When he went to the hospital and certain being who was a nurse started to use him as a blood supply because they were a vampire. He was stuck in a weak not conscious state having to deal getting fed on for 3 years, until he finally gained the strength he needed and tried to run away and was almost caught but somehow ran into another vampire who was there to kill the nurse vampire. There was a fight and Sanemi was grabbed by the nurse vampire and she was trying to turn him into one as well, but right as that happened she was killed. Something changed in Sanemi and the vampire who saved him teaches him how to deal with the changes on his body.

He giggled, turning to look at them one last time before he walked out the door. That's when he froze, it felt as if someone was squeezing his heart when he spotted it. There was a small scar on Eijirou's arm.
