A second collection of short urban fantasy stories based on a simple idea. What if all is not as it seems in our world?

If you like anarchist faeries then this has the story for you. What happens when a pudding is possessed? Who knows what the future will bring? I certainly don't and that's the fun of writing from a one sentence idea.

I had to start a second collection since the first was closed for new updates after entering it in the Wattys 2014. I thought I only entered one story but the whole lot went. There's a lesson to us all. Ho hum! If you want to read the story I liked then go to the first Fantasy in the City and check out 7 Tintagel Close.

[WATTYS 2022 SHORTLIST] "Hello again, Pizza Boy?" I glanced up at him with a smile. The blood was rushing out my head but it didn't bother me. "Are you back to make another attempt on my life?" "Shut up," he fumbled, absolutely petrified. "I-I hate you!" I laughed as we were both red in the face; one more sticky then the other, "Aww, I hate you too." My hands held my non-beating chest. "It's mutual trust me. But I guess you really want your Xbox back huh?" -- 17 year-old Evelyn Gates has a quiet yet witty personality. She usually stays in the background and is mediocre at literally everything... just ask anyone. She enjoys the smell of pizza and watching Guy Fieri stuff his face with food in her free time. Oh, and there's one more thing... she's immortal. That's right, Evelyn can't die, and she doesn't know why. Her body just magically puts itself back together again after tragic incidents. She calls it a curse, but the one other person who knows about it calls it a miracle. It's not until her pizza order turns deadly and her mom's boyfriend changes his outlook on life, when Evelyn finds out that there might be some more people involved with her immortality; people who are puppeteering her life and will stop at nothing but to destroy her. - Featured on: @TeenFiction 'FunnyBones' reading list: October 6th, 2021 @StoriesUndiscovered 'The Power of Laughter' reading list: June 1st -30th, 2021 -- Since mock websites are becoming more common, unfortunately, I have to give the disclaimer that this story is only being published on Wattpad. You die. Game over? Not quite. Welcome to the Afterlife Crucible. Every millennium, lost souls battle for a second shot at life. Forget everything you thought you knew about the afterlife. It's not pearly gates and harps - it's a ruthless gauntlet dreamed up by bored gods with a sick sense of humour. Your regrets become weapons, your sins are armour, and your secrets? Just ammo for your rivals. This is a no-holds-barred war where only the most devious spirits get to breathe again. You'll face nightmares that make Hell look like Disneyland, and opponents who'd sell their own mothers for a chance to win. Ready to fight for your life... after death? I sure as hell wasn't. There I was, barely keeping my head above water, when some prick decided to punch my ticket early. But let's face it - my chances of winning are slimmer than my ex's conscience. Who am I? Jane Doe. Just another dead girl in a sea of corpses... a junkie, a fuckup, a waste of oxygen. Or so I thought...
