Before you say anything, the majority of this fandom simps for the massive SOUR PATCH KID, so just let me have this, okay?
Young Y/n had a doll named Poppy. She was their best friend for years. Until one event separates them, seemingly forever.
Then one day, circumstances and a journalist friend lead the now adult Y/n to the factory where their childhood friend was created. The factory that contained murderous toys... And the doll that Y/n had loved years ago...
Before I begin the story, I'll make a "chapter" explaining a couple things for the book.

A serious branch x reader that doesn't have an over traumatized y/n? I'm in. Story will be in 2nd person, they/them pronouns will be used, and there will be little to no description of Y/N because I don't want to take away from anyone's imagination. A new beginning
Angel has managed to do what was thought impossible: eliminate the prototype. But at what cost! All her friends and toys are dead. A mysterious entity then invites her to return to the past to change the fate of the Hour of Joy and its consequences. But as she gets used to this new life, ghosts from her past come back to haunt her, while she already has to deal with the factory managers and Dr Harley before he becomes a machine. Playtime holds many secrets, including the transformation of children into bloodthirsty toys, secret projects known only to a select few, and enough to make even the most daring pale. ------------------------- To read this story, you don't need to be familiar with the game Undertale, but knowledge of the game Playtime is strongly recommended.
