After the news broadcast's ended, my parents tried their hardest to support me and my brother, Taylor. We were the only family that we knew of in Kenilworth, IL. that didn't leave. After almost a year of scavenging for food and avoiding the dead, you'd think we could handle any situation. Unfortunately, one run my parents went on was their last.

Today I've decided that I'm going to kill myself. I know a good area with a lot of the dead roaming around. If I could get them in one place I could feed myself to them.

I've thought about how it would be like to lose them and I thought I would be able to cope, but I never would have imagined how painful it would be. I felt so helpless, numb and angry all at once. I broke and I can't find any better solution. Not in this world. Please forgive me for my actions.
