Introduction To Gender Studies Final Paper: Write a queer version of a Disney fairytale. In this version of the classic Cinderella story a young and aspiring ballerina named Stella wants nothing more than to be a normal girl with a supportive family, but sadly, the universe had other plans. But after 18 years of hiding and an invitation to the prince's masquerade ball, Stella might finally get her chance to get what she always wanted: to see herself in the way she always wanted to be, and for others to see it too. If Disney won't give us a transgender fairytale, I'll do it myself!

Which is why Y/n sneaks out every once in awhile to the village, dressed as a commoner. She has found a friend with whom she can share everything with: a sweet young man, Elliot, abused and mistreated by his stepmother and stepbrothers. But Y/n sees him not as a threat to her own beauty, but as he is, which is a kind, courageous boy, of whom she fell in love with. Both too shy to confess their feelings, they carry on as friends. Until one special night at the princess's ball... " My heart has wings And I can fly I'll touch every star in the sky So this is the miracle that I've been dreaming of So this is love " If you identify as anything other than female, please still feel free to read this and just replace the pronouns. If you identify as anything other than female, please still feel free to read this and just replace the pronouns.
