Hajime Hinata is on a class trip to Jabberwock Island with ultimate students at Hope's peak academy. Although he's with kids from school and would most likely get along with them...he feels a strange awkwardness when around them. There's a catch though, Hajime isn't really like the others; he doesn't have an ultimate. Because of that, he thinks the others might look down on him. But there is one student that looks down on him the most, Nagito Komaeda: the ultimate lucky student. Hajime lives with his brother Izuru in their parent's mansion as they attend Hope's Peak Academy. Hajime has stage three lymphoma, but Izuru who has frontal lobe dementia. Izuru's talent is classified as Ultimate Analytical Prowess and Hajime's talent is classified ironically as Ultimate Unlucky Student. Nagito is the one in the Reserve Core and he can't prove that he has a talent, but he is sure it's Ultimate Luck. (He just can't prove it. Which might be good luck for him) Nagito's parents alive, but poor and Nagito has to do odd jobs as he's attending school. And by chance one of those jobs is being house maid, that leads him to meet Hajime and Izuru. That's literally the whole story summed up for ya.
