Startling Sky is the Beta of a group of cats who call themselves Blue Moon. Everything has been good so far; prey is running extremely well, the nursery is full with a new litter of kits, and everyone is happy. Other than the occasional skirmishes they have with Fangtooth (the group of cats living right outside their territory), or the hot weather, life has been easy during this lush green-leaf.
Then, expectantly, trouble strikes. Leaf-bare comes around, and things get rather difficult. The cold hits them without warning; it begins to snow very early, when it's only mid-leaf fall. With all the changes they made to their lifestyle after the previous moons of hotter-than-usual weather, the cats of Blue Moon are completely unprepared. One by one, Startling Sky's group mates begin to succumb to illness and starvation. What makes matters worse, is that targeted attacks from Fangtooth are on the rise again.
The Alpha of Blue Moon, Shattered Pebble, sends Startling Sky off on a dangerous mission to put a stop to their problems once and for all. And despite the difficulties she may encounter on the way, as Beta, she's determined to keep her head up and look out bravely into the horizon. Of course, bravery isn't the only thing she'll need to succeed; trickery and intelligence can come in handy. Most of all, lies.

Skyclan's Prophecy
It's been moons since Sharpstar took over Skyclan as leader, everything was peaceful for them without any other clans nearby and their clan grew each day. The only threats they had were heavy rain, the occasional fox or badger, and rogues... or so they thought. Frecklewish receives a prophecy stating that a falcon must make the journey to get help from the other clans if they are to survive once the moon has destroyed the sun. What happens though when the patrol sent to get help finds out the clans moved? Will they find them and save Skyclan in time? Or will they perish once more. The traveling cats have returned to the mountains with an entire new Clan, StarClan's mission has been completed but there is darkness shadowing all five Clans as they attempt to establish stability in their lives. In AshClan, Slatepaws's sharp attitude and ego is finally catching up to him and he is forced to go through a very harsh wakeup call which forces him to change his perspective, despite his reluctance. In MountainClan, Mountainstar's life has changed completely in only two moons and she struggles to be a good leader while trying to build confidence, pride and respect within her Clan of rouges, kittypets and loners. In MoonClan, Leopardpaw is happy to return to her normal life as a warrior but tensions and unrest are brewing a storm within the normal peaceful Clan and as an apprentice, she fears there is nothing she can do to stop it.
