It's been three years since Lilah's divorce was finalized and while her best friend, Priya, thinks it's time she starts dating Lilah would rather not. She is making peace with being single and focused on being a loving mom to her two-(soon to be be 3) year-old son Tristan.

Outwardly she's calm, cool and collected but inside she's scarred and terrified of getting her heartbroken again. To get her best friend off her back she creates a profile on a dating app with no hope of ever getting any responses and for a while that's the case until one day she receives a private message from Namjoon.

Namjoon is a hopeless romantic that's never been in a serious, long-term relationship, despite his efforts. All he wants is a woman he can love with his entire heart and a family to call his own. Out of sheer boredom but hoping luck is on his side, he joins a dating app and finds Lilah's profile and is immediately captured by her beauty. Taking a risk his sends her a message hoping she's the woman he's been praying for.
