It is pretty common knowledge that most creatures cannot exist without a soul. That goes for humans and monsters alike. If their soul is destroyed, they slowly waste away into nothing, disintegrating into mere dust.
Notice I said most creatures.
Some creatures don't have a soul. Their soul was beaten out of them by force, leaving them a with a husk, a shell of their former selves. Yet they go on, stubbornly clinging to any scrap of life they can hang onto.
This is a tale of one such creature, who lacked a soul, who simply refused to lay down and die.

[Author's note] Undertale belongs to toby fox. I only own the story and the two OC characters. Contains swearing, mentions of suicide, mentions of abuse, and blood. If those things upset you, please don't read this. Most of all, this is going to be updated very sparratically. Don't expect chapters to come out a lot. I generally post my progress on my community tab now and again, so check there if you're curious.

When a boy falls into the grasps of the underground, and into the possessive hold of a young girl, he will learn new things about the residents of the hellish world, as well as the secret past that lays within his companion and her true impact on the world around them. Frisk, and his ghost friend Chara, will explore the underground. Chara would lead him through, assisting in translation and directions, while running into new friends, as well as old ones. Frisk will learn many things about Chara, good and bad. Once he figures out her story, as well as the happy ending they all get, he realizes Chara grows more and more distant. Does he get bored without his ghostly counterpart, and if he does, What will he do about it? (( Warning ; Contains graphic scenes, and warnings will be included before each of these chapters. The Undertale Genocide Route is happening, but a new card has joined the deck: Finn, a quiet kid with a love for stuffed animals who falls into the Underground soon after Frisk. At first, it doesn't seem like there's much Finn can do, until they discover their superpower: the ability to transform huge piles of white dust back into the monsters they used to be. It's up to Finn to stop the murders once and for all and free both Frisk and Chara from the control of the player - but will they succeed? Or will they fall prey to the same fate themself...
