Samuel Michael Barry is the eldest brother of Diana and Minnie May Barry. Born on January 24th, 1862. He currently lives with Aunt Josephine in Charlestown, when his father suddenly falls ill. He has to return to Avonlea to be the man of the household while also looking after his younger sisters. He goes to Diana's school for the first time as a new student when he meets his future best freinds. Anne Shirley-Cuthbert and Gilbert Blythe help him catch him up on his lessons, he slowly starts to like Gilbert as more than friends. Will Gilbert feel the same way or leave Sam in the dust?
