17-almost-18-year-old Ezra Thompson is tired of two things. First, is constant chatter about Dilemma, an all-boy rock band, led by the supposedly-dreamy frontman Andre Robinson that somehow has a universal grip on every teenager in the world. Personally, Ezra doesn't see the appeal. Second, being in the shadow of her more smart, successful, and popular twin brother Emmet. Ezra couldn't ask for a better life. The thing is, Ezra, can sing. Like really sing. Only her parents who are occasionally proud of her, treat it as a juvenile hobby and she could never sing in front of people. So for now, her shampoo bottles get front-row access to her once-a-night concert in the shower. But when Ezra's younger sister, Maria, signs her up for a singing reality show called Finding Solstice, she is both angry and grateful. To her surprise, she passes the audition and is invited to Los Angeles for the show. Suddenly immersed in the cutthroat music industry, Ezra faces a whirlwind competition against fame-hungry singers, all fighting tooth and nail for the same prize. Amidst the manufactured forces of the industry, she must stand her ground and protect her passion for music. As if that wasn't enough, Ezra finds herself suddenly encountering a pretentious rockstar and is unexpectedly drawn to him. As the competition heats up, Ezra finds herself at the center of a brewing scandal that could end her career before it even starts. The pressure is on, and Ezra is torn between her passion for music and the fear of being dragged down. The stakes are high, and people are unforgiving, but Ezra knows that her music is worth fighting for. With her future on the line, she must navigate the twists and turns of the music industry and stay focused on what really matters: her music and her dreams.

THISIS THE OLD, ORIGINAL VERSION OF THE STORY! I left it up because the new version has significant differences, and I know I always hate it when I liked the old version of a story better and it gets taken down, but I still highly recommend reading the new one. Without further ado... __________________________ "Confidence? I've struggled with confidence my entire life. In fact, to this day, I still struggle, so I fake it. Faking confidence is a lot easier than most believe. Stand up straight, hold your head high, roll your shoulders back, look others in the eye, and stop apologising. Soon, your confidence isn't fake anymore." *** Davy and Jamie Myers were sisters. Just like any other pair of siblings, they had their disagreements and fought every once in a while. However, they were also each other's best friends. They never went a day withough hanging out. When an accident takes Jamie's life a week before granduation, Davy finds herself in a place no one ever wants to be. Her depression and anxiety start to consume her until she realizes the only way to keep her mind busy was to sing. So she started singing her sister's favorite music. *** Scott Jacobs always had a hard time making friends. He'd never been overly fond of the human race, so as soon as he graduated college, he moved out to the middle of nowhere to start a new life. A couple months after moving, he met his neighbor, Davy Myers. For the first time in his life, he had a real friend. Will their friendship crumble when she reveals the skeletons in her closet, or will it make Scott fall even more in love with her?

Logan and his bandmates had just finished with their concert and were on their way to the next location when they were in a horrible accident. Logan's bandmates were injured and released days later, but he remained in a coma. After being in a coma for months, his family didn't think he was getting any better and decided they were going to pull the plug, until his nurse Bodhi, refused to let that happen, and removed him from the hospital before they could. Bodhi was seeing signs of him getting better, and couldn't see anyone wanting to take his life away. She felt he would regain consciousness on his own, and knew she had to save him. In the middle of the night, before his family were set to pull the plug, she was able to sneak him out of the hospital, and drove to a cabin she had rented for the rest of the summer, hoping she could save his life. There was something about him that drew her to him, she thought about him when she wasn't working, and whenever she was in the hospital working with him, she could feel her heart growing attached to him. When he finally awakes, will he stay with her, and fall in love with her? Or will he be upset and want to go home? Cover credit to : www.selfpubbookcovers/vikncharlie
