When love came knocking

Jedidiah Price was one of the most handsome yet delinquent young men in the town of Providence. Sarah Kale loved that about him. He was her way out of this town and the tragic life she led. They were two kids from different walks of life who had nothing in common except the love they shared. With their baggage packed, plenty of determination, and very little money, they were just days away from leaving when suddenly, without a word, Jed left town.
It's been eight years since they last saw or heard from each other, but now Jed is back in town as the new Chief of Police. He is determined to win back the love he left behind with the promise that he left for a very good reason. He is constantly asking himself if he could get her to remember that she promised to love him always.
Sarah is positive there could be no good reason for the broken heart and trust issues he left her with. She is equally determined to prove to him and herself that love does not live there anymore. Branded by her friends as the ice queen, she is certain that her heart won't thaw out anytime soon, much less for him. Good reason or not, sometimes love comes knocking a little too late.
