After a local producer found an unreleased song, she fell right into place with the upcoming band Getaway Car. She loves the thrill. She loves the fans. She loves her band mates. But she loves the music the most.

Wes Carter is focused on the deep rivalry between the two bands. Although Getaway Car is only supposed to be their opener, they are starting to gain more attention. Wes built his band Remember When from the ground up, so nothing annoys him more than when bassists August Summers becomes his new competition, and distraction. He wants to be the better singer, better bassist, and better band. And he will do whatever it takes.

While trying to balance the biggest tour of their lives with their past traumas and ghost, the two begin to hate each other. Although bonded by hatred, the two have more in common than they think. Something brews deep beneath the surface that draws them closer than ever.
