Successors

This Fanfic takes place about 20 years after Shannon Messenger's Keeper of the Lost Cities. It is called successors because the main plot will mostly follow the next generation of elves. The Neverseen was diminished 20 years earlier, with most of its leaders either exiled or deceased (or so it seems).

Without a major threat to civilization, and with the moonlark thriving in the Lost Cities, the Black Swan has retired. Most of the original characters have done their best to move on and build better lives for themselves and their descendants, but in the back of their minds there is always that thought drifting that nothing will ever be the same, and although things seem to have been peaceful for 20 years, they just might be right.

After hearing the amazing tales and adventures that his parents took part in, Keefe Sencen Jr. (the son of Keefe Sencen and Sophie Foster) has an overwhelming itch for more than his peaceful- boring life. He feels that life will always be the perfect, horrible, boring, sparkly mess that he has come to hate with a vengeance, but he will come to find that he was so incredibly wrong. For a new evil presence is bubbling just underneath the ground, and this young elf might be the one to uncover it.
