The village is one of warriors and fighters and when children come of age they are stripped and sent into the woods to test their skills. If they returned on there own they were given status and wealth, if they didn't they were presumed dead to the elements. Most of the village know of the stories of a stone dragon that is deep within the woods an enchanted chain around its ankle keeps its Stoney appearance intact, but its power is in its gem in the center of its chest. Many have tried to retrieve it but turned to Ash almost immediately, the merchants that come to the village say they have seen the dragon's eyes occasionally glow like it's still alive trying to get free. The dragon was captured centuries ago the village had a warrior mage back then who wasn't strong enough to kill the dragon but had enough power to trap it forever...or so he thought.All Rights Reserved

Suddenly there was a huge roar. I take a step back covering my ears, my head spins, it is so loud I can't hear myself think. I stand at the mouth of the cave that yawns wide open on the side of a cave. Its big, bigger than a mountain lion bigger than a bear. And I am about to walk into it's cave. But I HAVE to find out what it is. What if there IS a dragon? It will eat me for sure. but I keep going, I just need to make sure it doesn't see me. I walk to this opening as the path split in two edging me across the wall. I will be careful, silent, it will never know I was even here. There is a rocky cliff side and a drop. I look up from my thought and my eyes lock with gleaming golden eyes. I freeze every muscle in my body locks and I can't move. Towering taller than a building stands something I never thought could exist. A dragon. My heart pounded in my ears as my blood ran cold.
