A tale like no other. A place like no other. Everything is not as it seems. Its darker. Kinder. Deadly. Its beautiful, lush swampy and overgrown. An oasis at the epicenter of a few square miles of 'older than memory' evil.

This land keeps the people and the people keep it. So close knit the land and its inhabitants, all feeding from another. Unchecked too long and the balance of all things has shifted too far into the smiling, sweet dark.

Without evil, there can be no good. Without balance no one wins - no one loses. No true growth. Twisted and sideways has its place and purpose to be clear. Just not... everywhere. Losing sight of all, this entity of an area stands to lose itself. Can it not see?

Purposes and pacts and handshakes and promises and dirty dealings. Can balance be found? If she evens wants to be found, that is. 'Seen' is the last thing she needs. 'Noticed' means people. People means ...well, I won't tell you everything right now.

The Hound

65 parts Complete

Antique store owner Liz brings home a Victorian taxidermy hound from auction, unwittingly unleashing dark forces on her wife and son. ***** Nat Loman has finally married the love of her life, Liz, and is getting used to her role as stepmother to Liz's 5-year-old son, Liam. The Loman family runs a bustling antique business so they attend a sale where a striking, black taxidermied hound is up for auction. Liz picks it up for the business, but it ends up being stored in their home, where Nat notices strange things occurring. She quickly discovers the past residents had died violently. Then she hears from a friend about the myth of "the devil's dog", a hound that perches in the shadows, tearing families apart from the inside. Soon, people around the Lomans are dying, and Liz is changing, darkening. It's up to Nat to save the woman she loves from the darkness closing in, and to save Liam from danger no matter what she has to sacrifice.
