Pete Danver, 29, is a former werewolf who is now human. His wolf abandoned him because of things he had done to their mate. He's lost his mate, his wolf and his pack and now he has to learn to live as a human without the abilities he is so accustomed to as a wolf and an Alpha.

Left broken both mentally and physically from the losses, he's been taken in by the Full Moon pack led by Alpha Andrew, the head of the Werewolf Council. Avery Brown is a 23 year old gay man who works at a small, family owned cafe/diner that has a good crowd of regular customers, especially the lunch crowd. He struggles with his self esteem due to a past filled with bullying to such an extent that all his friends had been driven away for fear for their own safety.

Now his high school bullies have stumbled into his workplace and decided to pick up where they left off so many years ago.

He's also met and begun dating the handsome, rugged individual named Pete Danver. Pete is an office worker on the same block as the diner.
