Bucky and Steve did everything together in the 40s; Their first job together, their first driving test, their first baseball game, their first dates, even enlisting in the army though it took Steve a bit longer. But what they didn't openly share was their first relationship together. They did date as teens and young adults but society frowned upon same-sex relationships, something else was missing though they felt like they had more love to give and often tried sharing a dame or two. The gals around town didn't like the idea of dating a pipsqueak like Steve or being with two men at once given reputation was everything back in the day. There was one gal though, she was actually more of a close friend than a dame to date she was a bit of a tomboy as well so playing house and cleaning or cooking while men worked really irked her. She always had a crush on Steve given his gentle and caring nature but she also had a crush on Buck since he was the pure example of a man with hero syndrome. The three became close enough so outwardly it appeared she dated Bucky and flirted with Steve from time to time, but she wanted to date them both and they rather liked the idea of sharing a girl.
