Vicinity - A BokuAka AU

Akaashi feels overwhelmed and crushed by his parents' constant pressurization, misunderstanding of his consecutive attempts to end his life and refusal to get him any psychiatrist or medical attention. Not knowing where else to go, he looks towards the internet for something, anything, to lessen the gaping whole in his heart and to help him escape from reality. This is when he stumbles on a game - "Vicinity: a game to nurture the little plants who find the environment hard to grow in and for the caretakers to have something to grow and spend daily life with!" Could this be the thing he has been looking for? Hesitantly entering the game room, he is paired with a random person on the other side of the screen; a person who will hopefully change his life for the better.

This story is inspired by the game Rainy attic room, where you spend time with a depressed non-player personality, who has recently moved to a place where it always rains. As you spend time with them, you slowly increase your level of familiarity and lessen the rain until the sun shines for both of you. I recommend this game if you're bored and want something that'll push you out of your comfort zone and that you can make a daily habit!
