Riley Kamski is the son of the creator of androids Elijah Kamski. He learned from a young age how to build and code Androids, so he uses that to build new and repair old. He has two he refuses to ever part with, Asher and Jack, two Androids he made.

One night while searching through the junkyard they found a slightly damaged Android from the RK series named Markus, and with meeting him Riley's life changes, revealing the secrets his father had kept secret from him.

Violet is cynical, kind, abrupt and keeps a secret about the night her "parents" and "siblings" were killed. She goes on a journey of finding hope when all hope seems lost, confronting her past, and finally being at peace.
