Date nights. They seem so great but what if you never come back from one?

Isabella Knight was one of those kids who never knew her true father, and was fine with that. She had her mother and her step-father. But then that night came when Isabella's parents decided that it would be nice to have a date night for once. And Isabella agreed; she knew her parents would want some time alone to do whatever they wanted. She wanted that too. But unlike ordinary date nights, her parents didn't come back.
They can't.
Like ever.

Isabella then has to move to one of her relatives- who just happened to live across the country, too far for any of her friends to visit from their state of Massachusetts. But maybe that's a good thing. At least there she can find somewhere- or someone -that won't make her feel so... alone.
