Hayley had a great life. She had friends, a boyfriend, and a little sister too. Her parents loved each other. And she was a runner. Running got her everywhere she needed to be.
But running would be the thing that'd destroy her entire future. She'd run right into the trap and be sent to the Purgatory.
There she'll meet Dallin. He's a seventeen year old that's scared out of his mind. He refuses to break any of the house rules, just like any of the teenagers there, except Hayley. Hayley's extra curious and wants to know why she can't pass the fences that lead to her freedom. She also wants to know what happens to the couples who are disappearing.
She plans on finding out.
And finding out could get her killed.

I decided to move away and to try and find an exit but I didn't even take one step back when I heard his voice. "Princess? Is that you?" I saw him raise his head before shooting his eyes onto me. The sudden gaze caused to heart to race while it froze my body as if I have turned into ice. I felt the fear engulf my body, eating me inside out. "You aren't scared of me... Are you?" he asked me, I sensed the envy in his voice. That mixed with his harsh tone caused a wave of goosebumps to course through my body. I wanted to begin by asking him where was I? Why was I here? Why was he here... I wanted to ask him, but I couldn't, the fear was just all too much for me. "Come on... Speak to me... Ask me..." he began. "P-please let go of me," I begged, trembling. "You are so beautiful." A man's voice spoke, his large hand leaving my face and traveling down my body to squeeze my pelvic region. "Stop." I screeched, my demand ricocheting between the four bedroom walls. The man growled darkly. "If you scream again, I will kill you." I nodded keenly in response to show that I would not challenge his threat. His hand slowly freed my mouth, testing if I would disobey him. He reached into his pocket. A knife, zip tie, and a rag were all revealed. The view made me realize that this could be my last chance to get help. If I did not call out right now, he would take me.
