The Supreme Court is set to hear the Kotia case today

The Supreme Court is set to hear the Kotia case today. The case is being re-assigned to another judge, Magistrate AM Wilker and Sanjeev Khanna. At the previous hearing, the court recommended a political solution to the case. Both states are likely to inform the state court about the recent Naveen- Jagan meeting.
The state government has set up a committee as per the decision of the meeting. The committee, chaired by the Secretary to the Government, consists of the Chief Secretary to the Development Commission, the Department of Housing, Revenue, Water Resources, Energy, School Mass Education and Higher Education. Andhra Pradesh has a policy of resolving disputes.
Andhra Pradesh government officials have repeatedly come to the border areas to organize various events. Even on the day of the Naveen-Jagan talks, the Andhra Pradesh government held a village meeting at Kotia Dhulipadar and distributed land leases.
