Miri is half dwarf, half elf, and looks like a human. She has royal family on both sides. Her mother is Maleth, the Sister of king Thranduil, and her father is Thráin, son of Thror, king under the mountain. Her Great uncle is Gandalf the Grey, in her mother's side. When her mother died, Miri traveled around middle earth with Gandalf, going on all of his quests. But when she is recruited to help Thorin reclaim his homeland, she has no idea whats in stall. Miri will find love, fight for her life, and realise that family is important, no matter what the cost.

Causing far too much trouble for Elrond in Rivendell the young elven princess of the North is moved to Mirkwood in order to be taught how to behave and leave her warrior ways behind. Caladhiel hates being told what to do but as soon as her eyes catch the Elven King's her world is about to be turned upside down.
