Topic: ROTC for Senior High School Students
The senior year can be quite difficult for students to handle, yet, they must amass as much experience as they can out of it. This paper evaluates the usefulness of the mandatory Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) program to senior high school students which teaches them the importance of competence and versatility in every situation they face. The program in question serves as the basis for civic education that is lacking in the youth of today. The ROTC program also develops the defense preparedness and resiliency of students to national emergencies and disaster response. The program does not only enhances the students' character and initiative but also improves their social well-being with solidarity and teamwork. Therefore, implementing the mandatory ROTC program for senior high school students can make an impactful difference to our nation.
