The Lottery has been going on for centuries as a yearly tradition, although it is not what you think it is. No one has ever questioned it's origin, and the winners just except their fate. Until 2024, Ethan Hale was just a normal person, until he got picked for it. See his reaction to it all, and watch as him and his best friend Charlotte Summers figures out the horrifying truth behind the lottery. (The idea was taken from Shirley Jackson's short story The Lottery. Highly recommended that the reader watches The Lottery to get a better understanding of it. It can be found on YouTube in two separate parts). (Also instead of towns everything is villages, just thought I would clear that up).
