A story set in the world of Laminaria, a distant planet once connected to Earth by an arkane portal. Through this portal, humans from medieval Europe crossed but were trapped when the gate mysteriously lost its power.  

The story takes place in Laminaria after generations of colonization by humans occurred. They've established their own nation, The Star Court. Subjugated the natives of Laminaria, The Tree Kin, and gone through a vast industrial boom.

Following several people, Zoriaphel, an ancient warrior, who has been awakened, Mavin Havendash, a vengeful ranger of the Star Court who was once one of the Tree Kin, and many others whose paths intersect to shape the scope of Laminaria.
