Kim Taehyung is part of a Sociological Research Agency that does Social Experiments. The Agency wishes to research the dynamics of a gang and for this purpose, they choose one of their best researchers who will be covertly observing the gang for 6 months. 

Jeon Jeongguk is a gang leader of the most famous and powerful gang in South Korea, the 'Black Spade'. Just the name of the gang and the man himself is enough to send shivers down one's spine. His cold and ruthless demeanour makes people think twice before meddling with his matters.

But guess what, he'll have to deal with an intruder meddling not just with his business but his heart too.
