Temptation From Above

An original work of mine! I decided to post it because I don't necessarily want everything to be about fanfiction (though I do have fun writing it.)
It's quite different from other things I have posted but I hope you enjoy!

A star loved a human, though they couldn't be together. Every night, they'd meet outside the human's window. Their love grew each time they met and finally, they couldn't keep it a secret. The star gifted the human a crown of starlace, five-petaled silver flowers that only stars are capable of growing, able to heal major wounds as well as containing other powers. The star was stripped of their starlace growing powers and cast onto the earth, able to retain only their wings and minor healing abilities. Their human lover is the only one who knows that when you see a shooting star, it's a star being cast out. So when they see a shooting star and their love doesn't turn up, they worry...
