6 months. That's how long it's been since Raylen Williams' life has fallen apart. Life for her had always been hard, but it never had amounted to anything like this. In a last ditch effort to move away from her problems and start fresh, she moves away from her beloved city and finds herself in the heart of Baltimore. The city itself has a lot to offer Raylen, but she wants to do things differently than before. Maybe taking things slow and not rushing into anything new will finally make sure that her life turns out the way she feels it's supposed to.
But Baltimore has different plans for her. The boy living across the hall puts all of her plans on hold, and along with some of his friends, Raylen's life will ultimately be change for the better, but what happens when her old life comes rushing back to claim her? Will Baltimore be the end for Raylen? Or will it be the start of something beautiful instead?
